The cult film "This is Spinal Tap" about a declining heavy metal band trying to make a comeback, gets a sequel with "Spinal Tap 2: The end continues".
Now, the first clips from the film have been shared by director Rob Reiner, reports NME.
In the clips, the band, whose members are now in their 70s, try to have a group conversation via Zoom, which turns out to be technically challenging for the old rockers. It also hints at various rock clichés inspired by famous bands that have split up and then reunited again.
In the new film, artists such as Elton John, Paul McCartney, Questlove, Garth Brooks, and Trisha Yearwood also appear.
"Spinal Tap 2: The end continues" will have its US premiere on September 12. When it will come to Europe has not yet been announced.
