SpaceX wants to invest $55 billion in Musk's Terafab semiconductor factory in Texas

In total, the capital investment related to Terafab - whose products will be used in robot production, space projects and AI initiatives - could amount to 119 billion if additional phases of the project are implemented, Bloomberg reports.

Tesla founder, CEO and the world's richest man, Elon Musk, presented the idea of Terafab in March. In addition to SpaceX, Tesla will invest money in the factory construction.

The information was published on an online municipal information page for Grimes County, Texas, where the factory is said to be located, and has not been confirmed by representatives of either SpaceX or Tesla.
