South Korea to Deploy Military Personnel Near Strait of Hormuz to Help Keep Waterway Open

South Korea will send military personnel to areas around the Strait of Hormuz to help keep the waterway open, the country's defense ministry said.

Patrol aircraft and personnel trained to handle explosives are reportedly being deployed.

In September this year, South Korea said it would not join the war with Iran militarily.
