South African jazz icon Abdullah Ibrahim dies at 91

Ibrahim, who also performed under the stage name Dollar Brand, was one of the leading artists of the Cape jazz genre. His composition "Mannenberg" became significant for the anti-apartheid movement and was performed by Ibrahim during Nelson Mandela's presidential inauguration in 1994.

Ibrahim also played in Sweden several times. He lived to be 91 years old.
