The data from Krasnodar is being reported by several Ukrainian media outlets. The refinery, which is one of the largest in the area, is located about 500 kilometres from Ukrainian territory.
Meanwhile, Reuters reports that production at the Saratov oil refinery earlier this week has been put on hold after being hit by Ukrainian drone attacks. The Omsk oil refinery in western Siberia, deep in Russia, has also suspended production after an attack, according to the news agency.
Air raid sirens sounded in parts of Ukraine overnight. Nine people were killed and over 70 injured in Russian attacks in areas including the Donetsk region and Kherson in the south.
Early on Friday, Ukraine was also reported to have attacked Russia again. Ten drones heading towards Moscow were shot down, according to the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin.
