The information from Krasnodar is being reported by several Ukrainian media outlets. The refinery, which is one of the largest in the area, is located about 500 kilometers from Ukrainian territory.

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that production at the Saratov oil refinery earlier this week has been put on hold after being hit by Ukrainian drone attacks. The Omsk oil refinery in western Siberia, deep in Russia, has also suspended production after an attack, according to the news agency.

Early Friday, Ukraine reportedly attacked Russia again. Ten drones flying towards Moscow were shot down, according to the city's mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Air raid sirens have also sounded in parts of Ukraine during the night. In Zaporizhzhia, Governor Ivan Federov has warned of threats from ballistic missiles and attack drones.
