Fighting between Boko Haram and the rival extremist group Iswap broke out in Dogon Chiku on Lake Chad on Sunday, according to reports.
"Judging by the death toll we have, about 200 Boko Haram terrorists were killed in the battle," said Babakura Kola, spokesman for an anti-jihadist militia that cooperates with the country's military.
