When Finn Sami Pajari started the weekend with nine straight stage wins, the rest of the drivers had to focus on fighting for the positions behind him. In that battle, Solberg was the strongest, and after a strong Sunday he secured second place.
"For me personally, this was an important weekend to come back mentally," says Solberg.
In the overall standings, Solberg is fifth, 47 points behind leader Elfyn Evans. Solberg lost one point to Pajari, but picked up points on the other top competitors.
