During the World Rally Championship in Japan, Solberg crashed into a telephone pole and had to retire from the race. This is the third time Solberg has crashed on asphalt this season.

"Today I saw that he was taking too many risks," says Toyota teammate Sébastien Ogier.

"Of course we push. We fight for seconds to get into the top three. I didn't do anything different than I usually do," Oliver Solberg responds to the criticism.

The Värmlander will restart on Sunday to chase bonus points. The 24-year-old is third overall after six races - Toyota's Elfyn Evans is in the lead.
