The novel "Pi:raten" is intended to be the first part of a series of suspense novels Sofia Wistam is writing together with journalist Leone Milton.
"This feels so exciting! Now a new chapter in my life begins, I am excited, terrified and excited at the same time," says Wistam in a press release.
The story is inspired by the presenter's own childhood, which alternated between glamorous upper-class life and isolated subsistence living, something she talked about in her summer programme on Sveriges Radio in 2020.
