It was goalless for a long time in the fourth semifinal between Södertälje and Djurgården. But in the end, in the third period, the goal drought was broken. The home team took the lead through Sebastian Dyk, but Djurgården responded.
At least for a short little while. After a longer video review, the referees decided that Södertälje's goalkeeper, Frans Tuohimaa, had been interfered with and thus the goal was disallowed.
Later, Djurgården would score again, but this time too, it was disallowed due to the goalkeeper being interfered with.
Instead, Södertälje could make it 2–0 in an open net, and win the match 2–0.
After the match, Djurgården's coach Robert Kimby was restrained in his opinions about the disallowed goals, although he didn't entirely agree.
So they're looking at it and making their decision, they have to do that. I would have liked it differently on the first one, but it's not much more than that. They get disallowed, so then we have to try to score again, he says in TV4 Play.
The series is now completely even at 2–2 when they now turn to Stockholm for the fifth round. It will be played on Tuesday.
