Oskarshamn is also ready for the quarterfinals of the Swedish hockey playoffs - the qualifiers for the SHL - after two straight victories over Almtuna in the round of 16, winning 5-3 on Wednesday evening.

Södertälje impressed in a heavy win over Mora. After just over three minutes, SSK led 2–0, and before the end of the first period the lead had been doubled, aided by an improbable 18–0 shooting advantage.

Sebastian Dyk scored three of the goals.

This is how the quarterfinals will be, which will be decided in the best-of-seven matches: Björklöven–Oskarshamn, Kalmar–Södertälje, Bik Karlskoga–Nybro, Modo–AIK.

The first two quarterfinal series start on Sunday, while the remaining two begin on Monday.
