There were only 2.57 minutes left, with the score tied 0–0, in the seventh quarter-final match between Kalmar and Södertälje when Småland's goalkeeper Jacob Crespin conceded the decisive goal.

The away team's Filip Windlert put a simple puck toward the goal, but Crespin unfortunately deflected it in off his post. In the final second of the match, William Wiå made it 2–0, ending the season for Kalmar, who finished second in the regular season.

Seventh-place Södertälje now faces Björklöven in a semifinal starting March 31; Björklöven won the regular season. Bik Karlskoga will face Modo on April 1.

The semifinals will be decided in best-of-seven games.
