A person has been arrested in absentia after several employees at the social services in Botkyrka were threatened, reports TV4.
The social services were closed on Tuesday, reported P4 Stockholm and Dagens Nyheter. The threats were made on Monday evening and are described by the municipality as serious.
We have taken care of our staff and will now strengthen our operations with security guards, said Lennart Agén, press officer in Botkyrka municipality, to DN.
Visitors were referred to the digital service on Tuesday. The social services reopened on Wednesday.
The incident has been reported to the police.
