Social Democrats demand commission for women's health, propose 300 million kronor

S proposes in its spring shadow budget that the commission should be politically led and consist of representatives from healthcare and research. According to S group leader Lena Hallengren, this is about better access to diagnoses such as endometriosis, birth injuries and menopausal symptoms.

"Sweden's women deserve a government that does more. Not like the Tidö government, which chooses to talk, tilt its head a little and blame the regions," she says at a press conference.

The 300 million will be fully funded, according to the party's economic policy spokesperson Mikael Damberg, as with all of the party's reforms.

We will show that there is another path for Sweden than just borrowing "happy happy".
