Suspicion of election fraud is pouring in across the country. In the case in Landskrona, it concerns Fatmir Azemi, an opposition councillor and the Social Democrats' leading candidate in the municipal elections. According to a police report from another Social Democrat, listed further down on the ballot, Fatmir Azemi himself is said to have distributed ballots on which he had been marked - something he denies.
"I have not handed out any marked ballots," Azemi tells SVT.
He is being investigated for improper influence during voting, and the case has been handed over to prosecutors, according to Mathilda Strandberg.
Azemi has not been charged with a crime, according to the police.
