Four vehicles, a van and three cars, are involved in an accident in Vellinge municipality. Three people have been taken to hospital by ambulance and the road has been closed.
According to Sydsvenskan, which cites the rescue services, at least two of the people are seriously injured. The police tell TT that they have no information about the extent of the injuries.
"There is a lot of snow on the road and a very serious traffic accident has occurred there," Mattias Sköld, duty officer at the rescue service, told the newspaper.
The accident was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. According to the Traffic Department on Swedish Radio, several accidents have occurred since 6 p.m.
