Snowfall is expected to move in across southernmost Sweden on Monday afternoon. In southeastern Skåne it will be heavy, with a risk of significant snowdrift formation.
A yellow warning for snowfall and wind applies in the rest of Skåne, southern Blekinge and southern Öland. In northern Skåne a yellow warning applies for snowfall only.
Both the Swedish Transport Administration and Skånetrafiken are urging travelers to stay home if possible. According to Skånetrafiken, it is highly likely that public transportation will be affected.
Trains are also affected - traffic between Ystad and Simrishamn is suspended from noon to midnight.
