Supporter unrest and snowy weather caused the premiere round of the Swedish Cup in football to be marked by delayed matches.

The kick-off in the match between Karlbergs BK and IFK Norrköping on Södermalm in Stockholm was postponed after a fight broke out near the arena.

Around 60 supporters of a team that was not playing there showed up, says police spokesperson Ola Österling to TT.

He says that the police gathered around 25 people who were removed.

The match was originally supposed to start at 6 pm but the kick-off was postponed to 6:30 pm, reported several media outlets.

IFK Norrköping won the match 2–1 after goals by Christoffer Nyman and Tim Prica.

In Småland, the match between IFK Värnamo and Trelleborgs FF, with a kick-off at 1 pm, was interrupted at 2:15 pm due to snowfall at a score of 2–2. The match was resumed at 4 pm, according to Trelleborgs Allehanda, and ended 3–4.

In Stockholm, a temporary break was needed in the meeting between FC Stockholm Internazionale and Kalmar FF to clear the lines, according to Aftonbladet. The match ended 2–0.
