In October 2025, Customs at Arlanda became suspicious of a shipment from the United States that, according to the shipping documents, contained two wooden tables ordered by a company in Småland.
When Customs opened the package, a total of 32.8 kilograms of cannabis was found.
A couple of days later, a woman came to collect the tables. However, she changed her mind and left the scene. After being followed by officers, she and another woman were arrested a short time later.
The following day, the owner of the company that ordered the tables was arrested, as was another man linked to the smuggling.
A fifth person was arrested in Stockholm in December.
The suspects are now being prosecuted at Jönköping District Court.
