Suspicion is directed at a 45-year-old woman and her 23-year-old daughter, who were arrested in the Copenhagen area on Sunday. They allegedly had three minor children in the back seat when they crossed the border into Denmark with the drug shipment hidden in the car.
"Using one's children as extras to hide such a serious criminal act is something we view with great seriousness and it has been reported to social authorities," says Commissioner Michael Andreassen in a written comment to the Ritzau news agency.
