50 years after the success of "Living next door to Alice", Smokie is coming to Sweden. Next year, the band will give seven concerts here.

The British band will kick off their world tour at the O2 Arena in London on December 11 and play their first gig in Sweden on February 28 in Stockholm.

Smokie was formed in 1975 and had a huge hit the following year with "Living next door to Alice", a cover version of the Australian band New World's song.

None of the original members are any longer in the band, which today consists of Steve Pinnell, Mick McConnell, Martin Bullard, Pete Lincoln and Luke Bullard. These joined Smokie from the 1980s onwards.

Tour schedule: 28/2 Stockholm, 1/5 Linköping, 2/5 Norrköping, 13/11 Västerås, 14/11 Gothenburg, 20/11 Varberg, 21/11 Lund.
