The 21-year-old Swede has received international acclaim and was recently selected as one of the talents competing for a spot in the UFC.

In Las Vegas last night, Sundell defeated Aline Pereira - sister of MMA legend Alex Pereira - by decision, securing a place in the UFC.

"I'm happy with my performance. I usually finish my fights, but Aline was so strong. She's just like her brother," Sundell said after the fight, according to Aftonbladet.

However, winning alone is not enough to get into the UFC. The performance also had to impress the organization's top brass.

But opinions on the fight were divided. UFC boss Dana White expressed some skepticism before saying his colleague Mick Maynard had overruled him.

"Mick disagrees with me. He thinks you're an extreme talent and wants you now, so I've been overruled. Welcome to the UFC," White said, according to the newspaper.
