Several Swedes were in the starting lineups when Arsenal hosted Manchester United. Stina Blackstenius got the nod for the London club, while Anna Sandberg, Hanna Lundkvist and Julia Zigiotti Olme lined up for a pressured Manchester United side that came into the match on the back of two straight losses.
After a goalless first half, the goal was about to come. Arsenal were sloppy in defence, Julia Zigiotti Olme stole the ball and thumped in the opener in the 67th minute.
A goal that looked to be decisive, but in the 95th minute Smilla Holmberg stepped up. The right-back, who had been substituted in the second half, secured a valuable point for Arsenal when she made it 1–1.
