From the afternoon of Christmas Eve until late on Christmas Day evening, strong winds are expected, while snow flurries are moving in over the mountains. Locally, storm force winds may occur.
SMHI advises against staying in the mountains as visibility is expected to be poor and it may be difficult to find your way around. "Do not go out into the mountains unnecessarily," writes SMHI.
