The warning is in effect from 9 a.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.
Those who head out into traffic should be prepared for drifts, slippery conditions, poor visibility and sleet, and must therefore expect longer travel times. There is a risk of delays and cancellations on public transport.
If the temperature is close to zero, there is also a risk of disruption to electricity and telecommunications networks in areas where there are overhead lines.
The warning covers southern and central Skåne up to and including Åhus and Svalöv.
