On Wednesday, the risk of forest fires is assessed as high or very high in parts of Svealand and Götaland, including Gotland. SMHI warns that fires can spread easily and urges people to be very careful with fire.
The risk of grass fires is also considered to be high in an area from northern Värmland to northern Västerbotten, between 10:00 and 20:00. For example, fires can easily occur in last year's dry grass.
