The warning has been issued for large parts of Västernorrland County, parts of southeastern Jämtland County and parts of northernmost Gävleborg County - approximately from Sveg and Sundsvall to Sollefteå and Örnsköldsvik.
The warning is in effect between 11 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday.
SMHI urges caution on the roads and says drivers should adapt their speed to the road conditions.
