Heavy snowfall and strong winds could make conditions difficult in Skåne. SMHI has issued an orange warning and several yellow warnings for Monday and Tuesday.

Southeast Skåne is expected to be hit the hardest, according to SMHI. The orange warning is in effect from Monday 10 a.m. to Tuesday 9 a.m. and could bring up to 25 centimeters.

The rest of Skåne is expected to receive 5-10 centimeters, locally up to 15. A yellow warning also extends over parts of Blekinge and southern Öland.

SMHI warns that road conditions in several areas may become difficult due to drifting snow, slippery conditions and poor visibility.

Due to the weather, train traffic between Ystad and Simrishamn has been canceled, and more trains may be affected, according to P4 Kristianstad.
