The risk of forest fires is high or very high in the eastern parts of Götaland, Svealand, and southern Norrland.

The warning applies for Sunday. A rain shower will move into the area in the afternoon or evening, and the risk of fires will decrease by tomorrow, says Linnéa Rehn Wittskog, meteorologist at SMHI.

In the whole of western Norrland and northwestern Dalarna, the risk of grass fires is high or very high.

There, new grass has not had time to grow, so the dry last year's grass can start burning.

On Monday, it will be rainy in large parts of the country.

We will get a rain front during the night, which will bring low-pressure weather with showers next week, says Linnéa Rehn Wittskog.
