SMHI extends the yellow heat warning in parts of northern Sweden. The maximum daytime temperature is expected to be 30 degrees, in some areas up to 33 degrees.
The warning applies until Wednesday evening and includes northeastern Västerbotten and parts of eastern Norrbotten County.
It will be fairly high temperatures over the northern parts of the country until Thursday or Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be a bit of a change in the weather, then it will rain followed by slightly cooler air from the west, says Linnea Rehn Wittskog, meteorologist at SMHI.
