Movements were small on the Stockholm Stock Exchange on Tuesday. The broad OMXS index rose marginally by 0.2 per cent.
Among the stock exchange's heavyweights, fashion giant H&M performed best, up 1.9 per cent. Next came industrial company ABB, which rose 1.8 per cent.
At the other end, property company SBB fell the most, down 3 per cent amidst usual great turbulence.
On Monday evening, a consortium made a bid for niche bank Resurs, worth 4.7 billion kronor, with a bid premium of 38 per cent. The share consequently surged almost 35 per cent.
The krona strengthened slightly. One dollar cost 10.45 in the late afternoon, while the euro was quoted at 11.22 kronor.
The leading European stock exchanges rose between 0.3 and 0.7 per cent during the day.
