Small movements on Asian stock markets during initial Christmas Eve trading

China's Shenzhen showed positive development during morning trading, increasing 0.3 percent.

Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 0.1 percent, while the broader Topix fell 0.2 percent.

Shanghai climbed 0.2 percent. South Korea's Kospi gained 0.1 percent, as did the Hong Kong-based Hang Seng.
