Small Fire Breaks Out at Saudi Aramco Facility After Attack, Ministry Says

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy says a small fire broke out in an administrative building at an Aramco facility in Zahran that was attacked. No injuries were reported.

The attack occurred as the Iran-backed Houthi movement and the Saudi-led coalition attacked each other on Tuesday evening.

Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense says four people were injured by debris from drones shot down over Riyadh. Fifteen homes were also damaged. The agency said the damage was caused by debris from two drones launched by the Houthi movement.

The Houthi movement in Yemen has repeatedly claimed attacks on Saudi Arabia in recent days and has threatened to continue targeting transportation hubs in the country.

Saudi Arabia leads a coalition that has provided military support to Yemen’s internationally recognized government since 2015, including efforts to take control of Yemeni airspace.
