One person has died after a small plane crashed and caught fire at Karlstad Airport at lunchtime on Saturday, police confirmed to TT.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene.
The accident occurred when the plane took off and crashed into the ground. The plane is completely burned out, says Mats Öhman, press spokesperson for the Bergslagen Region police.
