The opening of the new bus terminal in Katarinaberget at Slussen in Stockholm is delayed further, announces the City of Stockholm in a press release.
Most recently, April 2026 was stated as the opening date. Now the opening will "take place as soon as possible during the autumn of 2026".
The delay is due to the fact that the schedule for the installation work has been delayed. The fact that the bus terminal is being built in a mountain makes it difficult for the city to plan how long the work will take.
The bus terminal is a central part of the extensive reconstruction of Slussen and an important hub for the capital's public transport.
