The Slovenian Football Association announced on its website that Vincic is stepping down. He was in charge of a total of four matches during the championship in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The 46-year-old referee has also previously officiated the 2024 Champions League final and the 2022 Europa League final. He has officiated matches at a total of two World Cups and two European Championships.
Spain won the World Cup with a 1-0 victory in the final against Argentina on July 19.
