The pipeline, which runs from Russia to Slovakia and Hungary via Ukraine, was damaged in a Russian attack at the end of January, Ukraine said.
The announcement that the line is about to reopen comes after Slovakia accused Ukraine of delaying repairs. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Monday that emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine would be halted until oil supplies were resumed.
Pro-Russian Slovakia and Hungary are the only EU countries that have exemptions from the EU's import ban on Russian oil.
