This is what prosecutor Arne Fors of the National Unit Against Corruption said to P4 Stockholm.
It was last week that the police raided several addresses. A total of five people are suspected; the suspicions relate to aggravated bribery. Two people have been detained on probable cause. According to P4 Stockholm, three of the suspects are employees of the traffic administration at Region Stockholm.
The suspects in the aggravated-bribery case are suspected of having received around 15 million kronor.
They have received money in foreign accounts, says Arne Fors.
The crimes are alleged to have been committed during the period January 2023–December 2024.
