Ski mountaineering, a combination of cross-country skiing and alpine skiing, debuted on the Olympic program in Italy last winter. However, Sweden had no participants after orienteering star Tove Alexandersson and Jerker Lysell failed to qualify.
A total of five competitions in two disciplines will be contested at the 2030 Olympics.
