Sandra Näslund will also miss this week's World Championship competitions in Arosa and Innichen after the fall in the qualifying round of the World Championship premiere in Val Thorens on Thursday, according to the ski cross national team.

After the fall, the recently knee-operated ski cross star returned home to Sweden for further examinations.

After this week's competitions, the World Championship will take a Christmas break and resume in Reiteralm in mid-January.

Näslund has been completely superior in the World Championship in recent years, but suffered a meniscal injury that required surgery in January. She then missed the rest of the season.
