SKF tops expectations with second-quarter operating profit of SEK 3.2 billion

The result was better than expected. Analysts had expected an average of SEK 3.1 billion, according to Bloomberg.

Net sales during the quarter were essentially unchanged at SEK 23.2 billion.

"Given signs of increased market demand in certain industries during the second quarter, organic sales are expected to increase slightly in the third quarter compared with the previous year. However, geographical uncertainty, including the conflict in the Middle East, reinforces the general unpredictability," writes SKF.
