It was during Saturday's semi-final in Norrbotten that Pär Lindholm cross-checked Brian O'Neill in Luleå and received a match penalty. Now the Swedish Ice Hockey Association's disciplinary committee has suspended Lindholm for two games.

At the end of the match, Luleå's Oskari Laaksonen was also given a match penalty after an elbow tackle on Rickard Hugg. Laaksonen was suspended for two matches and fined 23,500 kronor.

Skellefteå leads the best-of-seven series 3–0. The fourth semi-final will be played in Luleå on Monday.
