Skellefteå went for the knockout on their second chance at home and won 4–1 in the match.
Victor Stjernborg made it 1–0 after 4:55 and Oliver Okuliar added another 52 seconds later. At that point, the home team had a 9–0 lead in shots on goal and Malmö coach Tomas Kollar called a timeout.
It didn't help much. Skellefteå continued to dominate, and only Malmö goalkeeper Marek Langhamer's great play prevented the home team from running away to more than 4–0, the last goal coming into an empty net.
Frölunda dominated the must-win match against Luleå - but it took time before the payoff came from Dominik Egli at the end of the second period. It ended up being 2–1.
Luleå leads 3–2 in matches.
