I'm incredibly proud of our performance. It was our best match in a very long time, so we're bloody happy. We'll build on that, says goalie Linus Söderström to TV4 Play.

The reigning Swedish champions have had a tough period, but maybe Saturday's match was the turning point. Skellefteå climbed from a qualifying spot to eighth place in the very even SHL table.

The victory was founded in the first period when they took a 3-1 lead.

The first period was below criticism, the second was better and the third quite good. The second half is quite good, but it became a bit too tough an uphill climb, says HV71 coach Anton Blomqvist in the TV interview after the match.

The Jönköping team will have to wait for their turnaround. Now they have seven straight matches without a win and remain in the relegation zone.
