In total, the contract is worth $1 billion, with Skanska's share estimated at $498 million (approximately SEK 4.6 billion).
"The project includes the design and construction of new station shells between 105th Street and 110th Street to enable a future 106th Street station. It includes connections to existing tunnels, excavation and earthworks, installation of roadway decks to maintain existing traffic, construction above and below ground for two station entrances, and extensive work on line relocations," Skanska said in a press release.
