Skanska to Build New Skøyen Subway Station in Oslo

Skanska has signed an agreement with Fornebubanan to build the new subway station Skøyen in Oslo, Norway.

The contract is worth 1.7 billion Norwegian kronor, equivalent to 1.6 billion Swedish kronor, and will be included in the order intake for the Nordic region in the second quarter of 2025, writes Skanska in a press release.

The contract includes the construction of a new underground subway station with two tracks and two entrances. The project also includes, among other things, the construction of a station hall, elevators and escalators, outdoor areas and entrance buildings.
