It will now be free for several children and young people to visit Skansen in Stockholm. The open-air museum introduces free admission for all up to 15 years.

”All children and families, regardless of economic conditions, should have the opportunity to experience Skansen”, says Skansen's CEO Maria Groop Russel in a press release.

The initiative, which is launched on October 7, is financed through an increase in annual passes and single tickets for adults. Previously, it has been free for children up to four years to visit the museum.
