Two so-called thermos bombs were found on Thursday at the golf course Kävlinge in Skåne. The objects have been taken apart and the police are now trying to secure tracks.

The objects were found in a bush at the golf course just before 2 pm.

They were found outdoors in a bush. Whether it was by staff or golfers, I will leave unsaid, says the police's press spokesperson Leif Fransson.

The bombs were not located near any building and according to the police, they may have been left there to be used at a later time.

One should never say never, but at first glance, it does not seem like it is aimed at the golf club, says Fransson.

The police will investigate whether there is any threat against the golf club or anyone connected to it.

A part of the area is still cordoned off so that technicians can secure tracks. Since the bombs were not detonated this time, but instead disassembled, one can, among other things, check for fingerprints and DNA.

A preliminary investigation into preparation for general destructive devastation has been initiated. No one is currently suspected or detained.
