Skandia lowers the variable mortgage interest rate by 0.15 percentage points. It is just like several other banks a smaller reduction than what the Swedish Central Bank last week lowered the interest rate by, 0.25 percentage points, which many assessors and politicians have criticized.
"Skandia prices mortgages based on the market situation and strives for conformity with market interest rates", the company writes in a press release.
