Six years in prison for Russian espionage in Germany

A court in Munich sentences a German-Russian man to prison for spying for Russia.

The man has been accused of spying for Russian intelligence, according to the court. He is also found guilty of planning acts of sabotage to undermine German support for Ukraine.

According to the verdict, he is alleged to have participated in plans for attacks on train lines and military infrastructure in Germany.

The German-Russian citizen is sentenced to six years in prison.
